Dear families and communities of Texas,

Welcome to Jubilee Academic Center District (JAC), a non-profit charter school organization serving more than 4,600 students in grades Pre-K through 12th in Bexar County, the Coastal Bend, the Rio Grande Valley and Central Texas. Jubilee is committed to the goal of excellence in education for all students. Our campuses provide a safe and structured community focused on leadership, academics and a balance of mind and body for lifetime success.

I believe leadership is essential to achieving success in any endeavor, however there is a crisis of leadership in America. It has become a systemic problem that encompasses every level of society. To address this, JAC was founded in 2000 and our academies have proceeded to innovate new means of educating. Our character and leadership curricula equip our students with core competencies for success. Every student at a Jubilee Academic Center campus is held to high academic standards with the aim of developing today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders.

Sincerely,

Tom Koger

Enrollment Policy

Consistent with state statute, Jubilee Academic Center gives first preference to a sibling of an enrolled pupil, a foster child of that pupil’s parents, and or a school employee’s child. If all spots are filled by lot, a lottery will be held and a waitlist will be formed. Forms submitted for a class that is full will be kept on file (waitlist) for the remainder of the school year.

Jubilee Academic Center does not discriminate in admissions based on gender, national origin, ethnicity, religion, disability, academic, artistic, or athletic ability, or the district the child would otherwise attend.

As authorized by Texas Education Code § 12.111(a)(6)(A), Jubilee Academic Center reserves the right to exclude students who have a history of a criminal offense, a juvenile court adjudication, or other discipline problems under Subchapter A, Chapter 37 of the Education Code.
